Happy Friday! Today is our 10 year wedding anniversary - I am so thankful for my husband and our family. This blog post is first of a few that will show photos from our trip to Portugal a couple years ago. Today's post is about Obidos. I've been to Obidos many times over the years, ever since I was as little as my kids in this picture. It is a medieval walled city that has been continuously occupied, and there are about 3000 residents now. It is one of my favorite places in Portugal.
It's always great to see your parents with your kids!
The sound of horse hooves on cobblestones is unforgettable...
I love all the colors in all the architecture.
The port wine is cheap, but it doesn't mean its not good!
The kids love hanging out with their uncle Paul!
Ellie was excited about the barrels of oranges - she would have jumped in if not stopped.
We had walked on the wall surrounding the city, and Ellie was on his shoulder. She was scared about falling, and held onto Ritter's face. When he tried to get her off, she scratched his face! You can see the scratch marks on the right side of his face. :)
Thanks to my brother Paul who took pictures that I'm in!
