“At this point in my life, I am enjoying being home base. Ray and I are branches in a tree that is increasingly well rooted. We are celebrating twenty-six years together.
Our life together started out as an adventure that made some nervous. Buoyed by faith and determination, we have enjoyed so much of life’s wonder and goodness.
Now we have the pleasure of watching our kids grow into young people. We have tried to give them the tools they need to engage the world, but we won’t be the ones to fulfill their dreams.
Instead we create a home base. We try to reflect back to them who they are becoming and speak in love about the truth we have learned. We keep it basic so they will head out to pursue their own dreams and adventures.”
